If you're looking for a quiet place to get away from it all, yet still be in the heart of a community and the beauty and culture of  Midcoast Maine, Doubling Point Cottage is the place you've been waiting for.

Relax in one of two bedrooms (one full, one queen) or a cozy living room. Cook and share a fabulous farmer's market dinner in the fully-stocked kitchen with friends. Sip a morning mug of locally-roasted coffee on the private back porch, start the day with a rejuvenating yoga session in the warmth of the morning sun on the sun porch, and enjoy the deck and private fire pit after a long day at the beach. Furnishing and decor is simple, functional, and inviting.

A short stroll through a quiet neighborhood will bring you to one of the ‘ten best maritime museums in the world’, the Maine Maritime Museum. From there, you can catch the trolley to our charming downtown, just a mile away.  You will find two public boat launches nearby, two state parks with miles of sandy beach less than 15 miles away, and dozens of opportunities to hike, bike, and explore.

Doubling Point Cottage would make a charming getaway for a couple looking for a romantic spot on the Midcoast, a comfortable vacation cottage for a small family, or a quiet home-away-from-home for a short-term contractor.
